My photography journey began when I realized just how beautiful the world truly is. I’ve traveled to more countries than U.S. states, and everywhere I’ve gone, I’ve wanted to capture everything—the memories, the smiles, and the adventures. What started as a passion for preserving my own experiences has grown into something even more special: capturing love stories and cherished moments for families and couples.
A little about me—I’m a coffee girl through and through. A Grande oat milk shaken espresso is my go-to on every coffee run. My husband, Luke, is my best friend, and we met during our military tours in Germany. Funny enough, our last name, “Klug,” is actually German… and yes, we really do live up to its meaning!
I’m at my happiest with coffee in hand, my favorite country playlist on, and the open road ahead. There’s something about car rides and road trips that makes my soul happy. Home sweet home is Arlington, Texas, but my heart is always chasing the next adventure.

Where did the name Nico Ventures come from?
I DECIDED BACK IN EARLY 2019 THAT I WANTED TO SHARE ALL OF MY WORK FROM MY STREET PHOTOGRAPHY SOMEWHERE AND DECIDED TO USE INSTAGRAM. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO NAME THE ACCOUNT BUT I JUST WANTED SOMEWHERE EASY TO BE ABLE TO REFERENCE ALL OF MY MEMORIES AND PICTURES.
I LOVED TRAVELING AND LOOKING BACK AT ALL OF MY PREVIOUS ADVENTURES AND WANTED TO BE ABLE TO SHARE THEM WITH MY FRIENDS/FAMILY BACK HOME. I ALSO CONSIDERED MY MAIDEN NAME WHICH IS "NICOSIA". WONDERING IF YOU'RE SAYING IT RIGHT? IT'S OKAY, SO DID THE REST OF THE WORLD. IT IS PRONOUNCED "NIC-OH-SHA".
LONG STORY SHORT GROWING UP I KNEW THERE WERE NOT MANY NICOSIA'S OUT THERE AND I DID NOT KNOW THAT SIDE OF MY FAMILY VERY WELL.. SO I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO MAKE SOMETHING OF MY LAST NAME AND I HAD A LOT OF PRIDE IN KNOWING THAT MY GOAL WOULD ALWAYS BE TO GIVE 100% IN EVERYTHING I DO. "NICO" IS SHORT FOR NICOSIA, AND VENTURES, SHORT FOR ADVENTURES. WHICH REFERENCES SHARING MY STREET PHOTOGRAPHY AND ADVENTURES BEFORE I STARTED GETTING INTO COUPLES, MATERNITIES AND FAMILY SESSIONS.
